While the newer releases aren’t likely to get mobile ports, you can at least catch up on the older titles and compare and contrast. With all of the love that King of Fighters especially has received due to the ACA NeoGeo releases, there’s actually sort of a release order you can follow now to see how the franchise has evolved over time. This is due to some revolutionary mechanics and a stellar cast that expanded upon KoF ‘99's gameplay. KOF 2000 was, shockingly enough, the year 2000 entry in the popular fighting game franchise, and is still held up nowadays as one of the mainstays amongst the genre, up there with the likes of Third Strike and other touchstones within the community. ![]() Fighting game fans especially have a lot of classics to choose from, with those previously mentioned and then some. The library is now quite massive, and we’ve gone over a few as they release at least once a week. If you aren't caught up, the ACA NeoGeo library comes courtesy of SNK and Hamster, and are rereleases of classic titles. ![]() Due to SNK and Hamster’s seemingly never-ending quest to port every single classic fighting game to mobile through their ACA NeoGeo releases, we now can play the legendary KOF 2000 as well as KoF ‘95, KoF '99, and even Fatal Fury! ![]()
